OBIT: unknown newspaper clipping [copy] CITY MARSHALL DEAD- Reese W. Wood Passed Away Monday morning--Funeral Held Tuesday at Tool's Chapel--- Reece W. Wood, son of Wesley and Nancy Wood was born near Monroe 4 December 1871, died at Monroe 10 March 1924, at the age of 53 years 3 months and 6 days. He married to Miss Amber Boat, of Kellogg, Iowa in the year of 1917. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and two sons Orba Lee & Wilbur Orvas and 6 sisters Rebecca E. Tool of Reasnor, Iowa; Corilla A. Rohrer, Lucinda Berkenbosch, of Monroe, Iowa; Bertha A. Reese, of Spokane, Washington; Mary J. Porter & RenaReese, of Des Moines, Iowa; three brothers John & Eli Wood of Monroe, Iowa and Edmund Wood of Reasnor, Iowa. The funeral services were held at Tool's Chapel with Rev. Arms officiating. Interment in Tool's Chapel cemetery. [Fairview]
