FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT MOLINE, 1960 Funeral services for Orba L. Wood, 41, former Jasper county resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Moline, Illinois, Gospel Temple church. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Moline, Illinois. Mr. Wood died Friday evening at the Moline Public hospital. He is survived by is wife, Bernice; a son, stepdaughter, his mother, Mrs. Amber Van Gorden; and a brother, Wilbur, all of Moline, Illinois. Born in Monroe, Mr. Wood attended schools at Kellogg, He was an employee of the Maytag Co. and Automatic Co. in Newton and Mid-West Metal Stamping Co. in Kellogg. Mr. Wood, who left Jasper county approximately 10 years ago, served with the Army in World War II.
