Frieda Fojtik daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Pokorny) Dolezal.Frieda Dolezal married Daniel Fojtik on November 18,1935. -------- Stroke Fatal To Mrs. Fojtik; Funeral Here Funeral services were held here Friday for Mrs. Daniel (Frieda) Fojtik of Point Comfort, who died of a stroke at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24 in Champ Traylor Memorial Hospital, Port Lavaca. She had been hospitalized only ten hours. Mrs. Fojtik, the former Frieda Dolezal, was a native of the Weimar area and lived here until her marriage. Born Nov. 25, 1913, In the Dubina community, she was a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Pokorny Dolezal. She, attended Live Oak School near Weimar and was married to Mr. Fojtik here on Nov. 18, 1935. They lived in El Campo from 1936 to 1951 and since then had lived at Point Comfort. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church there. Rev. Gerald Hubertus officiated in services at Hubbard Funeral Home and St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe R. Cernoch, Eddie Kallus, Cyril Dusek, Kenneth Brune, Laverne Brune, and Billy Ray Dolezal. Mrs. Fojtik is survived by her husband; one son, Clay Fojtik of Blomington, Ill; one sister, Mrs. Mary Brune of Palacios; and three brothers, Anton Dolezal of Bay City, Charlie and 0. J. Dolezal of El Campo. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Weimar Mercury, December 3, 1970 Contributor: Helen Dolezal (49748278) --------- Fojtik, Frieda (Dolezal) POINT COMFORT -- Mrs. Daniel Fojtik, 57, a resident of Point Comfort for the past 19 years, died Wednesday afternoon in a Port Lavaca hospital after a sudden illness. Mrs. Fojtik, who was born Oct. 25, 1913, in Fayette County formerly resided in Weimar. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Point Comfort. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:45 a.m. at the Hubbard Funeral Home Chapel in Weimar and at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Weimar, burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Mrs. Fojtik is survived by her husband, Daniel Fojtik of Point Comfort; a son, Clay Fojtik of Bloomington, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Brune of Palacios; three brothers, Anton Dolezal of Bay City and Charles and O.
