Clay F. Fojtik, 42, of 809 E. Empire St., Bloomington, a service manager of Service Contractors, Bloomington, and owner of Clay's Cooling and Heating Co., died at 11:06 p.m. Saturday at his residence. A private funeral will be at Beck Memorial Home, the Rev. Joseph Hauser officiating. Cremation will follow. There will be no visitation. He was born Feb. 29, 1940, in Texas, son of Daniel and Beatrice Dolezal Fojtik. He married Karen Suntken in December 1959, at Roberts. Surviving are his father, Point Comfort, Texas; a son, Kevin, at home; and a daughter, Kim, at home. His mother preceded him in death. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mr. Fojtik died Sunday in Bloomington, Illinois. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving at Chute, AFB. He moved to Bloomington in 1970. He was born Feb. 29, 1940 in El Campo, the son of Daniel Fojtik and the late Beatrice Dolezal Fojtik. Services will be at S. Anne's Catholic Church in Point Comfort. In addition to his father, he is survived by a son, Kevin Fojtik; and a daughter, Kim Fojtik, both of Bloomington, Illinois. When Clay Franklin Fojtik was born on 29 February 1940, in El Campo, Wharton, Texas, United States, his father, Daniel Fojtik, was 26 and his mother, Beatrice Freida Dolezal, was 26. He lived in Justice Precinct 8, Wharton, Texas, United States in 1940 and Wharton, Wharton, Texas, United States in 1950. He died on 16 October 1982, in Illinois, United States, at the age of 42, and was buried in Colorado, Texas, United States.
