Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 23 Oct 1970, Fri Page 2 Services Slated For J. Havelka Prague - Services for James Havelka, 78, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Kucera Funeral Home, Prague. Rev. Donald Proett will officiate. Mr. Havelka, a retired farmer, died Wednesday at Wahoo Community Hospital following a short illness. Born at Prague Aug 8, 1892, Mr. Havelka was married to Rose Virgl Oct. 9, 1916. The couple farmed south of Prague until retirement in 1947, when they moved to the community. Survivors include his widow; three sons, William, Fremont, Calif.; Leonard, Mead, and Joseph , Prague; two daughters, Mrs. William (Mayme) Sedlacek, Malmo, and Mrs. Paul (Marcella) Weisgerber, Whittier, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Prague.
