(02/08/2021) THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, October 26, 1998, page 4B: ‘Amy Ruth Lovelock, 76, of Houston died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998. Bright-Holland Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Sidney Young officiating. Mrs. Lovelock was born May 22, 1922, in Lamar County to Jim and Edna Shannon Eatherly. She married Al Lovelock who preceded her in death Sept. 24, 1984. She attended school at Deport and Paris Junior College. She was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Calhoun of Houston; four grandchildren, Shawn Calhoun and wife Sarah, Chip Calhoun and wife Sarah and Daniel Calhoun, all of Houston, and Dawn Sandoval and husband Darren of Denver, Colo; two great-grandchildren, Joseph Sandoval of Denver and Morgan Calhoun of San Diego, Calif.; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Jerry Bob Stephens of Paris, Mary and Delbert Bounds of Paris, Judy and Willie Yandel of Mesquite, and Nelda and Ronnie Price of Mount Vernon; and four brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Eleanor Eatherly of Oklahoma City, David and Linda Eatherly of Mesquite, Richard and Virginia Eatherly of Clardy and Fred and Sarah Eatherly of Paris.
