Funeral services for Mrs Edith Eppars, 66 of Dike, were held at 2pm Monday in the Murray-Orwasky funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Charlie Taylor officiating. Interment was in the Connor Cemetery at Dike with grandsons servins as pallbearers. Mrs Eppars died at 5:30 pm Saturday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband. F.O. Eppars, who she married Oct 15, 1922 in the Flora Community; two sons; O.C. Eppars of Cumby and Wayne Eppars of Dike; a daughter, Wanda Roberts of Sulphur Springs; three brothers, Billy Bartley of Coleman, Hayden Bartley of Claude, and Vessie Bartley of Dike; three sisters, Mrs Mozelle George of Dallas; Mrs Gladys Neal of DIke, and Mrs Christene Glenn of Sulphur Springs; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs Eppars was gorn in Hopkins County on Feb 9, 1906 to Elizah and Lille Veazey Bartley. She was a member of the Dike House of Prayer.
