Wayne Eppars May 30, 1932 — March 8, 2022 Funeral service for Wayne Eppars, age 89 of Dike, TX will be held at 2:00P.M. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro Wilton McMorris officiating. Interment will follow at Connor Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00P.M. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Eppars passed away on March 8, 2022 at his residence. Wayne was born on May 30, 1932 in Dike, TX to Felton Odis and Edith (Bartley) Eppars. He married Carol Dawn McGrew on April 30, 1950 in Dallas, TX. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Army where he was a combat engineer in the Korean War. He worked as a butcher and retired after 50 years of working at the Packing House Meat Market. He is survived by his son, Felton Wayne Eppars Jr and wife, Dawn; daughter, Mary Carol Rogers and husband, Glenn; grandchild, Jeffery Wayne Rogers and sister, Wanda Roberts. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; son, Daniel Eppars and brother, Carlton Eppars.
