Bio

Essie Bardin Funeral Services for Essie Mae Bardin were held Monday, Feb. 9, at 3:30 p.m. from the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Mike Newby officiating. Interment was in the Heidle Cemetery. Mrs. Bardin was born in Wills Point on May 21, 1904 and died Feb. 7, 1981 in Kaufman County. She was a member of the Ola Church of Christ and spent her life in Kaufman County. She is survived by; one son, Archie Bardin of Terrell; three daughters, Dorothy Mae Daughtery of Dallas, Bennie Ruth Angell of Mabank, and Margaret Fay Vaughn of Irving; one brother LeRoy Mayfield of Kaufman; three sisters, Marie Taylor of Kaufman, Izora Lightfoot of Kaufman, and Myrtle Louise Wilson of Kemp; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jim LaRoe, Jim Roland Floyd, Rip Baldwin, Edd Dodd, Leonard Benson, Edwin Fox Roy Brockway and H. L. Couch. Obituary taken from the Kaufman Herald 2-19-1981.
