Rebecca S. "Becky" Springfield, 48, of Gainesville, Texas, was born June 10, 1962, in Ardmore, OK, the daughter of Haskell E.J. and Frances A. Holder Vaughan. She passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 in Gainesville. A resident of the Gainesville area for the past 20 years, Mrs. Springfield was a homemaker and had previously been employed as a dietary aide and nurses assistant. She and Robert J. Springfield were married in Oak Cliff, TX on November 10, 1984. A very caring individual, Mrs. Springfield was always there for her family and friends. She was of the Methodist faith. Preceding her in death was her father, Haskell E.J. Vaughan; and father-in-law, Thurman Springfield. Survivors include her husband, Robert Springfield of the home; mother, Frances Vaughan of Thackerville, OK; son, Bobby Joe Caples, also of Thackerville; daughter, Kerri Springfield of the home; three brothers and sister-in-law, Eugene Vaughan and Roger Vaughan of Thackerville and Keith and Sandy Vaughan of Ardmore; three grandchildren, Gaige Castro, Mason Borden and Gracelynn Borden; and mother-in-law, Annabell Springfield of Gainesville. Serving as bearers will be Richard Vaughan, Carl Vaughan, Lloyd Vaughan, Hubert Holder, Justin Hagle and Chris Springfield. Honorary bearers are Jesse Rossi, George Holder, Melvin Vaughan and Mike Springfield.
