MARIETTA — Services for Ronald Keith Vaughan of Ardmore, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, in the Chapel of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta. Interment in Legate Cemetery will follow under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Born Sept. 28, 1960, in Madill, the son of Haskell E.J. Vaughan and Frances Ann Holder Vaughan, Mr. Vaughan passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, at his residence in Ardmore, at the age of 52. A resident of Thackerville, most of his life, he attended Thackerville Schools. Vaughan had been employed as a welder in construction. He married the former Sandy R. Meadows on March 16, 1979, in Gainesville, Texas. Vaughan enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was of the Methodist faith. Preceding him in death were his father; and sister, Rebecca "Becky" Sue Springfield. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Vaughan of the home; mother, Frances Vaughan of Thackerville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Shane Vaughan, Ronald Erik and Amanda Vaughan and Michael Norwood, all of Gainesville; three daughters, Shasta Vaughan of Denver, Lisa Moore of Gainesville and Lauri Wolfe of Argyle, Texas; two brothers, Haskell Eugene Vaughan, also of Thackerville, and Roger Vaughan of Whitesboro, Texas; and six grandchildren, Erika, Bradley, Crissy, Shasta D., Leonard and Mikie. Serving as casket bearers will be Shane Vaughan, Ronald Erik Vaughan, Jesse Rossi and Bobby Caples. Honorary bearers are George Holder, Hubert Holder and Snookie Rains. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
