HOLBROOK, PEARLEY GERTRUDE HAMILTON "PEARL", 72 of Coeburn, VA died Tuesday morning in a Norton, VA hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Patton Holbrook , son Edward Paul Holbrook , and daughter Lerley Medford Holbrook. Surviving are three daughters Helen Irene Holbrook Thomas . Chesapeake, VA, Gladys Louemma Holbrook Kirk , Coeburn and Beulah E. Holbrook Dean , Silver Spring, MD; seven sons, Chester Wayne Holbrook, Sr , Clifford Eugene Holbrook , Samuel Franklin Holbrook , Albert Bruce Holbrook all of Coeburn, Homer Gilbert Holbrook , Silver Spring, MD, Howard Ueles Holbrook Knoxville, TN, Ervin Gothard Holbrook Flat Rock, MI. Two brothers, Walter Hamilton and Everett Hamilton, both of St. Paul, VA; 38 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Estes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Holbrook Chapel Church with Rev. Charles Ruff officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bobby, Billy and Harry Dean, James, Jimmy, Darrell and Sam Jr.Holbrook and Larry Buchanan .
