BRIDGEPORT....Virginia Reynolds Eakman, 80, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Monday, July 19, 2010, in Southlake. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial: 2 p.m. at Ryan Cemetery in Ryan, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Reverend Billy Rone will officiate. Pallbearers: G. A. Buckner, Kenneth Buckner, Jeremy House, Whitt Eakman, Darryl Ray, and Todd Buckner. Virginia was born September 19,1929, the daughter of Ross H. Reynolds and Lorine (White) Reynolds in Ryan, Oklahoma. She married Whitt H. Eakman on August 28,1946, in Henrietta. He preceded her in death along with 3 brothers: Ross Reynolds, Jr., Kenneth Reynolds, and Charlie Joe Reynolds. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chico. Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her son, Hollis Wayne Eakman of Johnson City: daughter, Vickey GaNell Eakman Ray of North Richland Hills; 4 grandchildren: Holly Ray Buckner, Darryl Ray, Ragena Eakman, and Whitt Eakman; 5 great grandchildren: Derek, Colby, Kasey, Kylie, and Karah; brother, Al Reynolds; and sister, Patricia Woodard.
