Husband: Wilhelm/William Friedrick Meissner Married: 01/09/1898, Hamilton County, TX, Hamilton County Marriage Record Bk. 3, p. 31 Parents: John Petrick & Clara Brikigt Patrick The Hamilton Herald-News, January 25, 1962 Clara Meissner Funeral Rites Held Wednesday Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Harmena (Petrick) Meissner, 84, were held Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. F. Rolf of Clifton officiating. Burial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery, in Hamilton. Mrs. Meissner, of Route 1, Jonesboro, died in the Hamilton Nursing Home where she had been ill for about a year and half. She was the widow of the late William F. Meissner, a retired Hamilton County farmer, who preceded her in death in December, 1961. Mrs. Meissner, who was born in Germany, March 5, 1877, came to this area to live in 1918. She was the daughter of the late John Petrick and Clara Brikigt Petrick She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hamilton. Mrs. Meissner is survived by four sons, Albert Meissner and Edd Meissner, both of Rt. 2, Cranfills Gap; Herman Meissner of Route 1 Jonesboro, and Otto Meissner of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Kneschke of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Clara Kopp, of Route 1, Jonesboro; one sister, Mrs. Herman Hohertz of Priddy; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and two daughters. Pallbearers include: Clarence Meissner, Douglas Whetstone, Martin Carlson, Jr., Marvin Kneschke, Herbert E. Meissneer, and Milton Kopp. Riley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
