Bio

James R. Johnston served as a Corporal in Co. B 66th Regiment Indiana Infantry. He served 2 years, 10 months, 10 days. He was taken sick at Corinth in the state of Mississippi with measles and placed in the hospital in Memphis Tenn. His health was never the same. He married Mary Weir October 28th, 1852 in Clark County, Indiana.
