Edwin " Ed " Warner Ivy, age 90, passed away Tuesday morning, November 10, 2015 in the Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Texas. He was born in Huntington, Texas to Bolivar and Mary Prestridge Ivy. Ed was in the United States Navy in World War II. He retired from Temple-Inland in Evadale, where he worked as a Supervisor for the # 2 Paper Mill. He was a member of the St. Pius Catholic Church in Hemphill. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his sons, Jack C Ivy and wife Cathy from Nacogdoches, Texas; Norris L Ivy and wife Robin from Bartlett, Texas and Scott Broussard and wife Rhonda from Kibyville, Texas, his daughters, Mary Ivy McCauley and husband Ed from Evadale, Texas; Stephanie Hukill and husband Ron from Silsbee, Texas and Beth Rodda and husband Jim from Orange, Texas ; his brothers, Ted B Ivy from Huntington, Texas ; Jerry J Ivy from Fairfield, Texas and Richard C Ivy from Early, Texas; his 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marie E Ivy; his sister Gloria Kirkland and his brothers, W J , George Prestridge and Daniel Paul Ivy. There will be a rosery here at the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015, in the St Pius Catholic Church in Hemphill, Texas Burial will be at he 1:00 PM in the Kirbyville Cemetery in Kibyville, Texas.
