Marilyn Klock Ivy, ge 87, of Evadale, Texas received her angel wings Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee. She was born on February 5, 1929 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Mildred Reimers Klock and Edwin Joseph Klock. Marilyn began her career with Eastex Paper Mill as a key punch operator and went forward to become the first female guard employed by the paper mill and retired at that position. Survivors include her children, Marcia Ivy McCauley and her husband Ed of Evadale, Texas, Jack Ivy and his wife Cathy of Nacogdoches, Texas and Norris Ivy and his wife Robin of Bartlett, grandchildren, Crystal Jones and her husband Keith of Bridge City,Texas, Shane Wilkinson and his wife Amber of Evadale; Jake McCauley of Willis; Heagan Bass and her husband Derek of Deweyville, Texas, Amber Jackson and her husband Zach of Gulf Breeze, Florida and Clint Pitts of Mobile, Alabama, great-grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Mark Jones, Brynn Wilkinson, Ryker Wilkinson, Taylin Bass, Karsyn Bass, Tristan Jackson, Braden Jackson and Lily Batcher. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, William Henley and Joseph Klock and her daughter, Edith Ivy. Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont, Texas. Her remains will be buried in Huntington, Texas next to her daughter at a later date.~
