Bio

John Wade Eller was born 26 March 1879 in Collin County, Texas, the son of John William Eller (1849 - 1930)and Eliza Catherine O'Brien (1848 - 1935) daughter of Drury Jefferson O'Brien and Edna Fallis. July 10, 1901 he married a beautiful, young widow, Lula Mae (Reynolds) Sperry (1882 - 1967) known as "Lou" and they had 7 children. They were a very happy loving couple. His grandchildren say he was kind, soft spoken and adored his wife and children. Known as "Wade", he was a farmer, owned or worked in a drugstore at one time. He also sold real estate. According to his granddaughter, Velma Louise (Jackson) Eads, he lost a lot of money in the stock market crash in 1929. The family moved to Oklahoma. At the time of his death 14 February 1939 they lived in Tulsa, OK. Wade and Lou's children: Pernell Dewey, Ida Estelle, Eunice Katherine, Nina D. C., Bertha Elta, Olan Leo "Buster", and Mary Wanda.
