Bio

Published in the Arcadia Champion, Arcadia, Nebraska, Friday, November 14, 1919, Page 6, Col. 2 OBITUARY Irwin Ezra Sherbeck was born February 16, 1884 near Bedford, in Taylor county, Iowa. At the age of four he with his parents moved to Custer county, Nebraska, where he grew to manhood and has since resided. January 8, 1906, he was united in marriage with Anna Hutches, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Hutches, and to this union was born two daughters, Hazel and Myrtle. He was united with the Christian church a few years ago and has lived a conscientious christian life and has always been a loving father and devoted husband. He passed away at his home on Clear Creek, Saturday, November 1, 1919, at 8:30 pm, age 35 years and 8 months and 15 days. His death was brought about by the much dreaded disease of cancer. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, two daughters, father and mother, one brother, three sisters and a host of friends. One sister has preceded one year ago. It is a great consolation to know as one passes out of this life into the beyond that they have been with Christ and have learned of Him, and that instead of bidding them a long goodbye, it is simply a good night to be followed by a sweet Good Morning at the dawning of a better day. --Ansley Herald
