Info: Mr. May's obit refers to him as Thomas "Ervin" May - with the quotes around Ervin. It says he is buried in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. He is referred to as Ervin May or Ervin T May on all the census and the Polk city directories through 1969. Starting in 1970 he is listed in the Polk's city directory as "T Ervin May". I didn't look at all of them, just some here and there and enough to narrow down when the name changed.
