Will McCurdy Succombs at 90 Pensacolians' Father Had 28 Chiildren FLOMATON, Aug 1 - (Special) - William McCurdy, 90, father of 28 children, equally divided between his first and second wives, died at his home near here today. He leaves, in addition to nearer relatives, 58 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. The Flomaton Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. McCurdy was born in Santa Rosa county March 22, 1849 but has been a resident of Escambia county for 65 years. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Florence McCurdy, and the following children: Mrs. Sallie Shirley, Mrs. Nettie Reeder, Mrs. Andrew Svendson and Mrs. Carrie McCurdy of Century; B. L. McCurdy of Miami; E. J. McCurdy of Pensacola; Mrs. F. C. Lynthicum of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Charles Carroll of Brewton, Ala.; LeRoy McCurdy of New Orleans; Mrs. Pete Laffalier of New Orleans; Mrs. Clifford Wood and Mrs. Lloyd Butler of Pensacola, and Mrs. Arthur Johnson, Howard McCurdy, William E.
