Bio

Plina Pauline McCurdy was the daughter of William Marion Jackson McCurdy and Amanda Beck. She married Archibald Pyburn at the age of 15 and had three daughters, Lula Bell, Maude Rodell, and Elizabeth Alyce. She left her husband when the girls were young and later married George Washington Bilbo of Missisippi. They only remained married a few years and later divorced. She then married Andrew Svendson an immigrant from Norway.
