Shiner Gazette Shiner, Tx. May 4, 1995 Rafaela Baros, age 83 years, 11 months and 9 days of Yoakum, died Friday, April 28, 1995. Rosary was recited at 7 PM Saturday, April 29 at Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum. Funeral services were held at 2 PM Sunday, April 30, 1995, with Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum. Pallbearers were Bob Harry, James Malinek, Mike Malinak, Chris Cromer, Dan Meaner and Robert Tucker. Honorary pallbearer was Dr. A. E. Mgebroff. She was born May 29, 1911, in DeWitt County to the late William J. and Janie Kasparek Baros. She worked at Tex Tan Leather. She is survived by a sister, Olga Malinek of Yoakum and brother, Robert Baros of Yoakum. She was preceded in death by her brother, Otto Baros, in 1949.
