Albina Ripper daughter of Josef F. and Anna Ripper. _____________________________ FUNERAL HELD TODAY FOR YOUNG WEIMAR WOMAN Funeral services for Miss Albina Ripper,22,daughter of the late Mr. and MRs.Joe Ripper,worse death occurred in a San Antonio hospital,were held t St. Michael's Church this Thursday morning,with the Rt. Rev.Joseph Szymanski officiating.Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery. To sorrowing survivors,the Mercury extends sincere sympathy. Weimar Mercury,January 3,1941,page 5 Final Rites Held For Young Weimar Area Resident Thursday Funeral services for Miss Albina Ripper 35,youngest daughter of the late J.F. Ripper and wife,whose death occurred Tuesday in a San Antonio hospital,were held here Thursday morning at 9 o'clock,with Rt. Rev.J.J. Szymanski officiating. The deceased became ill about two weeks ago from an attack of influenza,which later developed into pneumonia.She expired about 9:50 p.m. Dec. 31.and the remains were transported to Weimar by the Hubbard Funeral Home ambulance.Burial was made in St. Michael's cemetery,alongside her late parents. Miss Ripper was born Dec. 14,1905,at the family home near Osage and lived there all her life.An invalid practically all her life,she bore her suffering without complaint,always quietly helpful to her loved ones.She was loved by all those who knew her.Her mother preceded her in death only eight months ago. Survivors include a brother,William of Weimar;four sisters,Mrs.Rudolph Muehr of Weimar,Mrs.Chas. Beyer of Midfield,Mrs.Frank Knebel and Miss Sophie Ripper,both of San Antonio.A brother,Frank,expired three years ago. Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased:George and Henry Knebel of Midfield,Richard and Lawrence Muehr,Victor Wanjura and Leo Horak of Weimar. Weimar Mercury,January 10,1941,page 1
