Louise Smesny married Joe Konarik on October 24, 1933, in Frydek, Austin County, Texas. OBITUARY FROM THE VICTORIA ADVOCATE, Victoria, Texas, Friday, March 12, 1982 Louise Konarik Mrs. Louise Konarik, 67, of 408 S. Liberty, died Thursday at 9:15 p.m. at a local hospital after a short illness. She was born in Sealy and had been a resident of Victoria for 35 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the KJZT. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday at McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's. The body will lie in state from 9 a.m. until time of the services. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Joe E. Konarik of Victoria; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Hairell of Victoria; a son, Victor of Victoria; a sister, Mrs. Frances Zalesak of Sealy; and six grandchildren.
