Bio

Daughter of Edmund and Bessie (Smith) Callaghan. Ina attended school in Rising City, Nebraska. On November 26, 1936, Ina married Walter Bernt in Osceola, Nebraska. They farmed in Polk County and Ina Mae also worked 27 years for Columbus Laundry. Ina Mae lived on the farm until 2009 before moving to the South Haven Home in Wahoo and then to the Good Samaritan Home in Scribner. Ina Mae is survived by: Daughter: Janet (Hollis) Lillie of Osceola, NE Daughter: Judy (Bill) Way of Mead, NE 8 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren 13 Great Great Grandchildren Sister: Dorothea Sorensen of MO Ina Mae was preceded in death by: Parents: Edmund & Bessie Callaghan Husband: Walter Bernt in 1966 1 Granddaughter 2 Great Great Grandchildren 2 Brothers: Orville and Merle Callaghan Sister: Luella Callaghan Companion: Elmer Cress
