Greenville Herald Banner, Thu, 6 Jan 1994, page A3: Obituaries, Gladys Thomason QUINLAN - Services for Gladys Irene Thomason, 93, will be p.m. today in the Church of Christ with Robert Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Weiland Cemetery. Mrs. Thomason died Tuesday in Terrell Community Hospital. Born to Allen and Pricilla Hart Gilliam on Nov. 19, 1900, in Weiland, she married Wesley Thomason April 19, 1919, in Weiland. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Allen D. Thomason of Wolfe City; three daughters, Cordell Vandagriff of Greenville, Juanita Winterbauer of Garland and Ila Rice of Quinlan; one sister, Velma Johnson of Greenville; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in July of 1973 and one grandson. Arrangements handled through Quinlan Lybrand Funeral Home.
