Burial will be in Weiland Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Brown will officiate. Mr. Thomason died at 11:15 p.m. Friday in a Commerce hospital. He was born on Oct. 10, 1894 in Macon, Ga., the son of Jackson C. and Janie Bell Thomason. On April 8, 1919, he married Gladys Gilliam in Cash. He was a veteran of World War I, a retired mechanic and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are his wife, Gladys Thomason; three daughters Mrs. Cordell Vandergriff of Dallas, Mrs. Juanita Winterbauer of Garland, Mrs. Ila Rice of Garland; a brother, Dewey Thomason of Grand Saline; two sisters, Mrs. Don Moore of Lancaster and Mrs. Mandy Thomason of Whitewright; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Thomason, Cullen Gilliam, James Thomason, J.A. Ragsdale, Truman Thomason and Kenneth Lambert.
