Son of Marion and Elsie (Tuttle) Lux. Grew up in and attended school in Ravenna. Married: Feb. 11, 1946 to Viola Fester in Valentine. She died in 1994. Military: U.S. Army, 1941-1945, was a veteran of World War II; re-enlisted and served 1947-1964; served at Normandy Beach in France and the Rhineland and Ardennes Forest in Germany;served in the U.S. Air Force in Texas, Alaska, Louisiana, England, Guam and Coos Bay, Labrador; was involved in building the Al-Can Highway through Canada Retired from the military, moved to Kearney, worked for Kelly Electric; was a security guard at Baldwin Filters Son and his first granddaughter followed his footsteps into a military career. Enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping; was a life member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and the NRA. Was preceded in death by his wife, three sisters and a grandson.
