Last rites for Miss Juanita Hutson, 24, of Panhandle, who died in an Amarillo hospital Monday were held in Panhandle at the First Baptist church at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. W.I McClung conducted the services. The beauty shop operator died of injuries received in a car accident Sunday night when the car in which she was riding with Mrs. Davis Ramey overturned at a highway curve east of Panhandle. Mrs. Ramey is in a serious condition in the St. Anthony hospital in Amarillo. Miss Hutson died without regaining consciousness as her face was crushed, foot broken and severe bruises sustained. Pallbearers were Joe Tooley, Harold Waite, Haskell Lynn, J.H. O'Neal, H.J. Hughes and Al Lynn. Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Hutson of Panhandle; four sisters, Mrs. Leota Davis of Happy, Mrs. Mable Bailey of Panhandle, Mrs. Lora Burks of Mills, New Mexico, and Mrs. Opal Ebinger of Fargo, North Dakota; two aunts, Mrs. Minnie Brooks of Amarillo and Mrs. Minnie Pitt of Panhandle; a grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Blackburn of Panhandle and a niece, Mrs. Francis Harris of Hereford. Blackburn-Shaw funeral home of Amarillo was in charge of burial in the Panhandle cemetery.
