Memorial Obituary. The Daily Herald Sapulpa, Okla. May 5, 1983 Entered Into Eternal Rest Wednesday May 4, 1983 Services for Joe H. Coberley are set for 2:30 p.m. Friday at Sunrise Cemetery, west of Kellyville, with Rev. Millard McGuire Officiating. Interment and committal rites will follow under direction of Owens Funeral Home. Mr. Coberley died Wednesday in Tidings of Pease Nursing Center, Broken Arrow, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Bergman, Ark. 0n Aug. 13, 1904. Mr. Coberley had lived in Tulsa since December 1979 and lived in Bristow prior to that time. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator who retired several years ago. Mr. Coberley was a Baptist. Survivors include Mr. Coberley's estranged wife Marie Coberley of Merced, CA, his six children, Joe H Coberly Jr. of Early, Texas: Eunice May Maddalena, El Centro, Ca.; Andrew J. Coberly, Midland, Texas.; Ivan Ray Coberley, Merced, Ca.; Cynthia A. Lane, Klamath Falls, Or.; and Caryon A. Baird, El Nido, Ca. and nine grandchildren. A brother, Andrew J Coberley, Sulphur; a sister, Ann Quinton, Sapulpa: several nieces and nephews including Doris M Berryhill, Cleveland, Ok.; Evelyn E Gramm, Bristow, Ok.; Virginia Van Dalsem, Tulsa Ok.; and Opal Jean Lucas, Sapulpa Ok. In lieu of other remembrances, the family requested friends to donate to Sunrise Cemetery Association. The family will head quarter at home of Mrs. Quinton, one mile north of Blue Bell Baptist Church. Obits revised by Joe H Coberly Jr. 7-4-2012.
