Poor Farm Cemetery: Bristow, Creek County, Oklahoma, USA Lewis Jean Coberley or LJ as he was known went to be with our Lord the 29th day of January 1930 at 10 am while living at the county poor farm in Bristow, Creek County, Oklahoma, USA. He was laid to rest the 30th day of January 1930 in the county poor farm cemetery by the Sullivan funeral home (now Hutchins – Maples) Bristow, Ok where they charged $35.00 dollars to Creek County for a casket and burial service. Lewis was under a doctor's care for bronchopneumonia due to Chronic Bronchitis from January 1, 1930, until death. Grandfather Coberley had passed away and was buried before the family become aware of his death. The Oklahoma Certificate of Death for J L Coberly, date of death January 29, 1930, age about sixty-five, Burial in the county poor farm cemetery, Bristow, Creek County, Oklahoma.
