REGISTER-GUARD, Eugene, Lane Co., Oregon, Wednesday, August 3, 1977 Arvid Alton Tribble, formerly of Eugene, passed away July 29, 1977, in Oakland, California. He was born June 14, 1909 in Palouse, Washington. Besides his wife, the former Doris Venietta(sic) Alford, whom he married in Eugene, February 12, 1930, he is survived by two daughtgers: Arlene DeVore of Oakland, and Clorieta Cadwalader of Eugene; two sisters: Berniece Ritterbush of Grover City, California, Elaine Gensler of Mt. Home, Idaho; two brothers: Raymond of Alameda, California, and Orin of Freemont, California; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was an Army veteran and former policeman of Eugene. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 5, at 2 p.m. at Lane Memorial Gardens, Reverend Roger Mayhugh officiating. McGaffey-Andreason Eugene Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
