Son of Arvid Alpheus and Mary Ethel (Gustin) Tribble. Harland Alpheus Tribble was born on February 9, 1919, in Moscow, Idaho, his father, Arvid, was 31 and his mother, Mary, was 25. He married Mary Jane Metcalfe in 1946 in Wilder, Idaho. They had one children during their marriage. He died on February 28, 1965, in Spokane, Washington, at the age of 46.
