Bio

Lucille Fern Payne, 92, of Broken Bow died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at the Off Broadway Assisted Living in Broken Bow. Lucille was born Dec. 17, 1917, at Broken Bow to Lewis David and Gertrude (Pywell) Cook. On Aug. 12, 1937, she was married to Gordon Payne at Ord. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a daughter, Reva Burnett. Survivors are: daughter, Jan Geiser of Merna; 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Joe Burnett of Merna.
