Donald Cook 05/16/2005 Broken Bow resident, 76 BROKEN BOW — Donald Dean Cook, 76, of Broken Bow died Friday, May 13, 2005, at Sandhills Manor Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with the Rev. Henry Duerksen officiating. Burial will be at Broken Bow Cemetery. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born April 5, 1929, near Broken Bow to Lewis and Gertrude (Pywell) Cook. On June 18, 1950, he married Darlene Bellinger. She died Oct. 1, 1983. In October 1985 he married Virginia Anderson. Survivors include his wife; son, Gary of Broken Bow; daughters, Linda Doty of Broken Bow, Connie Casteel of Hastings and Sherri Goff of McCook; sister, Lucille Payne of Broken Bow; seven grandchildren; stepson, Jeff Anderson of Anselmo; stepdaughter, Kathy Tierney of Broken Bow; and two stepgrandchildren.
