Bio
Beatrice Moore, 85, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The celebration of life will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Farley Street Baptist Church in Waxahachie with Brother Richard Smith and Brother Jack McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana. Mrs. Moore was born Sept. 30, 1915 in Navarro County to Luther and Eva (Gann) Wood. She was reared and educated in Corsicana. She married John Patrick Moore Sept. 25, 1932 in Hill County. She moved to Waxahachie in 1960. She was a member of Farley Street Baptist Church and the Mary Sunday School Class. She was employed by Trinity Pharmacy and later as a retail clerk for Bealls Department Store for 15 years. She loved her church, her family and her grandchildren. Mrs. Moore is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Donna Moore of Waxahachie and Ricky Dan and Chany Moore of La Porte; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Jim Roy Brown of Corsicana; brothers, Weldon Wood of Stanford and Bobby Dan Wood of Cedar Creek; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
