Bio

Oscar Berryhill, 74, of Edna passed away on January 11, 2003. He was born on July 15, 1928, in Edna to the late Oscar Berryhill, Sr. and Ida Hollub Berryhill. Mr. Berryhill was the owner of Berryhill Welding Service for the past 44 years. He served in the US Navy during WW II , was a Past Master of the Edna Masonic Lodge 767, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Edna. He is survived by his wife, one daughter; and one son; brothers, sisters, 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Otho Berryhill. A Visitation will be held Monday, January 13, from 6 – 8 p.m. in Oaklawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 14, at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Edna. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Edna.
