From the Dignity Memorial web-site: Emolyn Winworth Thompson Born August 27, 1924 Emolyn (Winnie) Thompson (93 years) went to be with the Lord on 9-10-17. For the past year she lived at Sunnyside Care Home where she was made comfortable by staff and Hospice of AZ. Born Aug. 27, 1924 in Edna, TX. She married George R. Thompson and got to travel to places she could only dream of while growing up. She is survived by her three sons: Bob, Don, and Randy. Husband George, son Berry and daughter Patty predeceased her. By her request there will be a simple graveside service on Sep. 12 at 9 a.m. at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6450 W. Northern Ave Glendale, Arizona 85301. She said she wishes to be remembered simply as a loving mother and Christian.
