Oscar Berryhill Mr. Berryhill Edna—Funeral services for Oscar Berryhill Sr., 87, of Edna will be held at 4:30 p. m. Wednesday at Slavik Chapel with the Rev. O. U. Slaton and Rev. Joe Webb officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens of Edna under direction of the Slavik Funeral Home. Mr. Berryhill was born Feb. 8, 1892 at Bastrop, a son of the late Robert A. and Nora Pulliam Berryhill. He had lived in this county since 1909, and was a retired mechanic. He died Monday in a Ganado hospital. Surviving are his wife, Aline of Edna; five daughters, Mrs. Melba Holberg of Houston, Mrs. Alma Rae Bell of Lansing, Mich., Mrs. Emolyn Thompson of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Bonnie Faye Schlomach of Archer City and Mrs. Clara Gibson of Edna; three sons, Robert and Oscar Jr. of Edna and Charlie of Huntsville, Ala.; seven sisters, Mrs. Nola Jones, Mrs. Nancy Cannon, Mrs. Winnie Littlefield and Mrs. Elsie Buckwalter, all of Yoakum; and Mrs. Alice Robison of Edna and Mrs. Lillie Hathaway in Californa, and Linnie of Dallas; three brothers, Johnny of Yoakum, R. A. in Oregon and Don in California; and 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Keith, Sidney Clifton, David Bryant, Roger Pahmeyer, Donny Thompson and Carl Jurca. Honorary pallbearers will be Hal Bell, Dooley Halberg, Tommy Thompson and Richard Schlomach. Victoria Advocate , March 6, 1979
