Bio

Hannah (Stafford) Lacey was the daughter of Joab and Hannah (Biddlecomb) Stafford. She was the 1st wife of Rev. Dr. William Brittingham Lacey. They were married in 1812. Rev. Dr. Lacey was a minister in the Philadelphia Conference and Genesee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Lacey, who after faithfully fulfilling those duties, which, shed the brightest lustre on woman's name, the duties of the friend, the daughter, the mother, the wife, Died in full triumph of the Christian faith, 11th March 1831" Aged 37 Years, 5 Months 23 Days
