Mass of Christian Burial for Frances M. Antunes, 86, of Belton will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple with Father Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial park in Temple. Mrs. Antunes died Monday, April 12 at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Granger to John and Frances Kubala Zurovets. She married John Antunes in Temple and he preceded her in death. She was a housewife and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple. She was also a member of St. Mary's Ladies Altar Society. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Deaver. Survivors include three sons, Greg Antunes of Belton, Garry Antunes of Henderson and Phil Antunes of Temple; a daughter, Cindy Cantrell of Richardson; a brother, Eleck Zurovets of Temple; a sister, Sybil Mitchell of Granger; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 1018 S. Seventh St., Temple, TX, 76504. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
