Husband of Cecilia Janak Houston County Courier-Sunday, May 7, 2006 Obit for Jeff C. Krenek Mr. Jeff C. Krenek, age 79 of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006 in the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Mr. Krenek was born September 27, 1926 in Houston County and had lived in Houston County all of his lifetime, Mr. Krenek was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. Mr. Krenek was retired and had worked for Houston County Electrical Coop for over 30 years. Mr. Krenek was a member of the American Legion #134 and the V. F. W. Mr. Krenek was a farmer and rancher and was also a member of the St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Church in Crockett. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Cecilia Krenek, of Crockett; daughter Pauline Lundy and husband Johnny, of Lovelady; sons Jeff Krenek Jr., Joe Krenek and wife Gerri and Jimmy Krenek, all of Crockett: grandchildren Samantha Lundy Shaw and husband John, of Austin, Nikie Lundy, of Bryan, Angela Davidson and husband Jeremiah, of Reno and Andrew Krenek, of Crockett; great-granddaughter Melissa Davidson, of Reno; brothers Paul Krenek, of Crockett and Isidor Krenek, Jr., of Lovealdy; sisters Marguerite Cannon and husband Joe, of Meridian and Barbara Shupak and husband Larry, of Lovelady; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by his parents Isidor and Mary Krenek. Rosary services were held Thursday, May 4, at 7:00p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services for Mr. Jeff C. Krenek were held Friday, May 5, at 4:00 p.m. in the St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Church with Father Jose Geroge and Father Ranjan officiating. Interment followed in the Center Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Building Fund, 698 North Fourth Street, Crockett, TX 75835. Callaway-Allee Funeral Home
