Mr. Paul Krenek, age 64, of Lovelady, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in the Houston County Nursing Home in Crockett. He was born March 2, 1949 in Crockett and had lived in Lovelady most of his lifetime. Mr. Krenek was a member of the St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Church and the Crockett Elk's Lodge. He was retired having worked as a welder. Survivors include daughter, Gerri Jo Utz and husband, David of Lovelady; son, Thomas Frank Krenek and wife, Kathryn of Crockett; grandchildren, Ian Utz, Dawson Utz, Dustin Utz, Brittany Gardner, Trinette Lynn Krenek, Gracie Nesbitt and Naomi Martin; sister, Barbara Shupak and husband, Larry of Lovelady; brother, Isidor Krenek, Jr. of Lovelady; special sister-in-law, Cecillia Krenek of Crockett; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by parents, Isidor and Mary Krenek; brother, Jeff Krenek; sister, Marguerite Cannon and special friend, Lorena Shupak. Funeral services for Mr. Paul Krenek will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Church with Father Peter McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 4, 2013 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
