Cecilia Krenek, age 99, of Crockett passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Winfield Rehab and Nursing Center. Cecilia was born October 19, 1922 in Crockett to parents, Ike Janak and Pauline Stremski Janak. She attended Lone Pine School and was a longtime member of the St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Church faithfully serving in the St. Francis Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 134 and VFW for many years. She was preceded in death by husband of 56 years, Jeff Krenek, Sr.; son, Jeff Krenek, Jr.; parents, Pauline and Ike Janak; and daughter-in-law, Gerri Corte Krenek. Funeral services for Cecilia Krenek will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 in the St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Church with Father Cesar Betancourt officiating.
