#1 Mason City Globe Gazette Wednesday March 11, 1936 JOHN MULLER, MITCHELL COUNTY RESIDENT ALL OF HIS LIFE SUCCUMBS Osage: John Muller succumbed early Wednesday. He suffered a stroke Monday from which he failed to recover. Seven years ago he suffered his first stroke and the past two years was practically an invalid. Born in Mitchell county in July 19, 1877, he was married June 18, 1902 and since lived on a Cedar township farm. Surviving are his wife and six children, all at home, Leona, Lloyd, Eldred, Maurine, Theodore and Ilene. #2 Mason City Globe Gazette, Thursday March 12, 1936 FUNERAL AT OSAGE HOME, CHURCH FOR MULLER, 58 Osage: Funeral services were held at his home at 1 o'clock and at St Johns Lutheran church at 2 o'clock Thursday in charge of the Rev. Mr. Brauer for John Muller, 58, who died at his home early Wednesday morning following a stroke of paralysis. Surviving are his widow and six children, all at home, Leona, lloyd, Eldred, Maurine, Theodore and Eileen, and three sisters, Verna Muller, Mrs. Herman Ahrens and Mrs. Ed Schuttler, and four brothers, Herbert of Cedar Rapids, George of Lyle, Minn., and Ferdinand and Walter of Osage.
