Patty Gene Crosby, 81, of Richardson, TX passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at her residence. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Bradshaw, TX to Martin Luther and Ethel (Tindle) Hoke. She married Richard Hill Crosby on September 4, 1948. Patty was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Richardson. She graduated from North Texas Demonstration School and was a University of North Texas alumnus. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 10am-12pm at Denton Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1pm at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Kenneth Shamblin will officiate. Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Richard Crosby of Richardson; daughters, Nancy McDonald of Grand Prairie and Barbara Polansky of Weatherford; brother, Luke Hoke of El Campo, TX; sisters, Josephine Lawyer of Denton, Ona Shirley of Denton, Cyldene Shields of Auburn, AL, Effie Holderman of McKinney; and Ann Kerestine of Lantana, TX; and grandson, Richard Inscore of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Hill Crosby; daughter, Kathryn Crosby; brother, Roy Hoke; and sister, Doris Bryant. Services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Published Denton Record Chronicle March 19, 2010
