COLUMBIA, TENN. Frances Henson Lindsey, 95, of Kermit, died Monday, March 22, 2010, in Monahans. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday at Oaks and Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia, Tenn. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Tenn. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor. She was born in Maury County, Tenn. SURVIVORS Son, David Henson of Lynnville, Tenn.; daughters, Margaret Ann Anderson of Pulaski, Tenn., and Clara Marshall of Kermit; 23 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. ∼ Mary Frances Trice Henson Lindsey Frances Henson Lindsey, age 95, of Kermit, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010 in Monahans, TX. Mrs. Lindsey was born on December 07, 1914 in Maury County, Tennessee to the late Ollie and Ellen Iva Dale (King) Trice. Mrs. Lindsey married Marvin Henson Sr. on August 16, 1931. They shared 51 wonderful years together before he passed away on October 9, 1982. They were the loving parents of six children. She later married Raymond Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant, TN. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1997. Shortly after, Mrs. Lindsey moved to Kermit to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Clara and Jack Marshall. Mrs. Lindsey was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Kermit, TX. Those left to cherish her memory are: son- David Henson of Lynnville, TN., daughters- Margaret Ann Anderson of Pulaski, TN and Clara Marshall and son-in-law - Jack Marshall of Kermit, TX, 23 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind one sister - Lillian Crawford of Cookeville, TN., sister-in-law - Mary Trice of Knoxville, TN., and sister-in-law - Jane Page Trice of Columbia, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband - Marvin Henson Sr., sons - Marvin Henson Junior and Melvin Ansley Henson, and daughter - Eleanor Fly, one grandson - Kenneth Henson of Pulaski, TN., brothers - David Trice, O.A. Trice, Oakley Trice, Dudley Trice, and Lillard Trice. The family extends special thanks to Monahans Managed Care Center, Dr. McLarey and Home Hospice staff for their loving and faithful care. Visitation in Kermit, TX. will be at Family Services Funeral Parlor on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 26, 2010 at Oaks & Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Burial will take place at Arlington Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Her grandson, Pastor Randy Wells, will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Online condolences may be sent at fs-fp.com. Services are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor.
