Bio

Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Tuesday, 11 November 1919 Mrs. Stella Watson Collier was born Dec. 29, 1896 (sic) near Green field, Dage (sic) county, Missouri, and died at Grand Island, Neb., November 6, 1919, at the age of 23 years, 11 months and 7 days. She grew to womanhood in Missouri and on Nov. 25, 1912, she was united in marriage to Mr. Roy S. Collier. They made their home in Missouri until about four years ago when they came to Nebraska and about three years ago located in Grand Island, Mr. Collier being employed as switchman on the Union Pacific. She leaves to mourn her loss her bereaved husband and one daughter, Thelma, aged six years, as also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Watson, one sister, Amy, and six brothers, Phillip and Ova, of Marquette, Neb., Herbert, of Montana, Lester and Frank of Greenfield, Mo., and Edward of Edgar, Neb. Funeral services were held from the First Baptist church at 3 p.m. Saturday and were conducted by Rev. Jackson. Interment took place in the Grand Island cemetery.
