CHANDLER – Mrs. Amy W. King, 59, of Chandler, a former schoolteacher here, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital in Phoenix. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the Chandler Community Methodist Church. The Rev. William A. Kendall will officiate. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery. Mrs. King was born in Greenfield, Mo., and came to Chandler in 1958. She taught in the schools here until last fall. Before coming here, Mrs. King was for four years superintendent of schools in Lincoln County, Neb. She also taught for 12 years there. She was a graduate of Midland College, Fremont, Neb. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in North Platte, Neb., and the Mathew B. Juan American Legion Auxiliary in Chandler. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne M. Runner, Phoenix, and Gloria King, a Chandler schoolteacher; three grandchildren, and six brothers out of state. Friends may call at the Bueler Mortuary here from this afternoon until 2 p.m. tomorrow.
